Barta Boys & Girls Club Billfish Tournament added 2 new photos — with Donna Hardy and Jason Hawkins.
The tournament is proud to announce a new team will be taking over the tournament in 2018. As many of you already know Cynthia Barber will be stepping down as tournament director at the end of the 2017 tournament.
Jason Hawkins will be replacing Cynthia as the tournament director and will be in charge of the tournament and fishing aspects. Jason has been with the tournament from the beginning and brings a wealth of knowledge.
Donna Hardy will be taking over the event side of the tournament which has been mainly run by Karen Willis who deserves a much needed vacation and birthday weekend with her husband Mac. Donna also is not new to tournaments, she previously ran the KWLA tournament for the Big Rock.
“After 14 years of running the tournament it is time for some new blood and new ideas”, said Barber. “I know Jason and Donna will be a great team and really make some fun changes that everyone will enjoy”.
