Summer Nights at Morehead City Curb Market

As the oldest continuously operating curb market in North Carolina, this fun little downtown gem is stepping it up with its Thursday night fun. Come out on July 28th and August 18th for live music and plenty of vendors to shop from 6-8 pm. 

 

Shortway Brewing Co.

This veteran owned brewery is a family friendly environment with fun events all summer long. On July 27th, Art & Soul Studio will be holding a Brushes & Brews Canvas Painting class. On July 28th, enjoy a Flights & Bites class where you can learn about the ingredients that make up their brews and what would pair nicely with each. On August 3rd enjoy a classic evening of Trivia with friends. 

 

Rocks On The Docks

On July 31st from 3-6 pm, enjoy craft cocktails, live music, entertainment by magician Bryan Sanders, a 50/50 raffle and more at The View at Jack’s. Tickets are on sale now! 

 

Summer Movie Series

Come out to the Atlantic Beach Town Park where an outdoor movie will be played with concessions available at the stand. The feature film for July 29th will be Encanto and on August 12th it will be Cruella. Bring your beach chair and come early at 7:30pm to enjoy the bounce houses and crafts available! 

 

Free Summer Kids Shows

Atlantic Station Cinema has a special free screening of movies all summer long for children. At 10:30am on July 26th and 27th is Spirit Untamed. On August 2nd and 3rd is Scoob! And on August 9th and 10th is Paw Patrol The Movie. Concessions will be open as well for purchase! 

 

Beach & Brews

Enjoy an evening at The Cottage on Atlantic Beach from 6-9 pm where you will take a tour of six local breweries, sampling the best from across the town. Gather your friends and get your tickets today!

 

Beaufort Picture Show

Located at the Mill Space down Lennoxville Road, this limited seating venue hosts movies monthly with concessions sold next door. The next movie is Death On The Nile on August 20th at 7pm. 

 

Gosia Tojza Art Show

Gosia Tojza is a well known local artist whose works typically depict local wildlife and landscapes. As the featured artist for August and September, join the Mattie King Davis Art Gallery on August 6th from 4:30 – 6 pm to welcome her and her beloved artwork. 

 

Fur Ball of the Crystal Coast

On August 6th from 6-10pm, join in support of Austin Veterinary Outreach and Rescue for a night of cocktails, dinner, music and silent auction. The main attraction of course will be the red carpet for the adorable canines available for adoption. Grab your tickets today before they are sold out! 

 

Alive at Five

On August 26th, rock out to Night Years at 5:00 pm at Jaycee Park. Bring a lawn chair and friends for a fun way to end your week. 

 

Olde Beaufort Farmers Market

This town favorite is open every Saturday morning from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on the Courthouse lawn until mid-November. From fresh fruit, eggs, meat, paintings, clothing, home decor and more, you will have plenty to browse and enjoy. 

 

Promise Land Market

During the week, gather your friends for their weekly events and some great food and drinks. On Wednesday nights, test your wits at Team Trivia and on Thursday evenings, try your hand at Musingo or otherwise known as Music Bingo. You will be sure to have a good laugh! 

 

Taps & Tackle

Every week, you can find music at Taps & Tackle. Wednesday nights you can bring your friends out for karaoke and on Friday’s it’s DJ party night where there is a dance party with no cover. Live music can be found every Thursday and Saturday night as well. 

 

TackleBox Tavern

Come on out to Atlantic Beach for Sunday Funday. Enjoy live music and drinks each Sunday with a lineup of the Aquanauts, Ryan Rubich, Rob Lightner, Too Tall Tommy and Davey Williamson throughout July and August. 

 

Wine & Design

Grab some friends and book a class at downtown Morehead City’s Wine & Design. They have classic painting classes, unique resign pour sea glass classes, door hangers, family nights and even an adult camp! There are so many options to choose from so check out their calendar today!
